About Us

EWB Background

Engineers Without Borders USA (EWB-USA) is a non-profit organization working to build a better world through engineering projects that empower communities to meet their basic human needs and equip leaders to solve the world’s most pressing challenges. EWB Chapters collaborate with the national EWB-USA organization to engineer solutions to benefit communities around the world.

Our Chapter

The Harvey Mudd College chapter of EWB is a student-run organization established in 2017 that is dedicated to reaching out to places around the world and making a lasting impact on communities. We are currently involved in three international projects: Puerto Rico Relief, Haiti Solar Lights, and the EWB affiliated international project. In addition, we are working on local projects to benefit the community such as our Claremont High School collaboration.
